Weather permitting, the Otter Creek Watershed Insect Control District will be conducting truck-mounted ultra-low volume adulticide spraying in the Town of Leicester on 7-3-25. The Leicester East Lake route was unable to be completed on 7-1-25 and will be finished being treated tonight. PermaSease 3-15 (a synthetic pyrethroid pesticide) will be applied to control adult mosquitoes. Spraying will commence at dusk and will be completed before dawn tomorrow. All persons living along the intended spray routes are requested to stay inside, keep dwelling windows closed, and are encouraged to move children’s toys and pets indoors.
